Santuario della Passione
in Torricella Verzate

It stands on a hill of volcanic origin, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the vineyards of the Oltrepò Pavese.
The origins of this church date back to medieval times, but in the second half of the 18th century it was decided to demolish it to build the current sanctuary inaugurated in 1770.
At the end of the 19th century, a holy staircase was erected that reproduced the original one in Jerusalem. Tradition dictates climbing it on one's knees, with the promise of nine years of indulgence for every step climbed.

Near the parish church and the adjoining Santuario a Torre Saracena can still be seen, which gives the village its name and allows a wide view over the Valle Po and Oltrepò Pavese.

On the square in front of the church there are 14 Baroque chapels, each representing in Street Crucis.

Museo della Bambola
in Santa Giuletta

Until a few decades ago, Santa Giuletta was known as the village of dolls; in fact, before the industrialisation of production, there were many factories and workshops in Santa Giuletta where handmade dolls were produced and then shipped all over the world.

As a testimony to this historical production, a small but interesting museum has been set up with dolls from the period and photographs of the production processes.
